It is with much disappointment that we have to announce we are cancelling our Bowls Of Blessing Banquet until early 2022. Although a very hard decision, which we have wrestled with, we believe this is the RIGHT decision with the numbers of COVID cases increasing in our community. We did not want to be a contributing factor to more people becoming sick.

Winner of our Coloring Competition
United Christian Services is working on producing an updated "Van Buren Resource Guide" for distribution. This booklet contains useful information, phone numbers, websites etc. for lots of agencies, non-profits and organizations that offer help and support to our community.
The winner of the coloring competition hosted by VBDL is Molly Johnson, age 9, from Gobles.
What community means to her: "Community is all the people who talk and smile to me when I am having fun around where I live.”
Her winning entry will be on the cover of the 2021-2023 printing of the Van Buren Resource Guide. Congratulations Molly!
